Worship Leader

General Purpose of Position:

To coordinate and manage all aspects of the Music and Worship Ministries of 
Lebanon Methodist Church.

Time Requirement:

7 – 12 hours / week, flexible

The Primary Task:

Worship Leader will coordinate and manage all aspects of the music and 
worship ministry at Lebanon Methodist Church and will also participate in 
Sunday Worship and other musical productions of the Church as appropriate. 

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with the pastor all music for Worship Services and special 
events (special seasonal services, hymn sings, etc.). 
2. Plan and manage all music practices, including communication of 
same with all appropriate persons.
3. Lead the Praise and Worship time during Sunday services.
4. Recruit and supervise musicians and vocalists for worship.
5. Manage assignments for band / music volunteers.
6. Maintain Lebanon Methodist Church instruments (e.g., piano tuning 
and maintenance of humidifier, organ).
7. Complete appropriate continuing education as needed.
8. Other praise and worship related activities as needed. 
9. Funerals / weddings optional as available.
