Worship Leader: Living Sacrifice Church

The worship leader will prayerfully plan, prepare for, and execute one worship service weekly as scheduled in cooperation with and reporting to the pastoral team.

Tasks:

• Prepare for and plan music for one service weekly
• Coordinate with Pastors on Weekly Sermon Topics
• Coordinate sound technology, including recruiting and training a team of volunteers
• Coordinate A/V, including recruiting and training a team of volunteers
• Coordinate a praise team, growing a team from talent within the congregation; actively disciple team, and ensure team members have the tools and resources required for this position of service.
• Seek a flexible target of 50/50 traditional hymns and contemporary music
• Maintain CCLI and Worship Tools (applications)
• Upload weekly music to the Presenter application
• Set up and tear down equipment as required by host organization
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation:

$300 per week (including Sunday), reevaluated at least annually

Living Sacrifice Church of the GMC is a church plant in Chesapeake, Virginia. Currently, we are seeking candidates for a Music Minister/Worship Leader position. We are looking for someone who has a personal love and relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Someone who, through this authentic relationship with Christ, has a heart compelled to love and minister to God’s people through praise, worship, and music. Candidates would utilize their spiritual gifts and talents in music to engage the community in a heart of worship. Here, we have included a job description for each candidate’s consideration. This is a quarter-time position, including leading worship on Sundays at our 10:30 service, starting March 1, 2026.
