There are two types of Connectional Funding:

- Annual Conference Connectional Funding - Currently set at 3% of the local church operating income.
What the 3% Annual Conference Connectional Funding Supports
- Clergy Leadership & Development – Equipping clergy for effective ministry.
- Laity Leadership & Development – Equipping laity for effective ministry.
- Annual Conference – Expenses related to hosting the yearly Annual Conference.
- Evangelism – Supporting connectional efforts for evangelism across the state in Virginia.
- General Conference attendance – Expenditures related to the sending of delegates and necessary staff to the GMC General Conference.
- Communications – Supporting our online presence as we share information and the Gospel!
- Administration – Supporting the day-to-day needs, including technology, cloud services, mailings, office materials and etc.
Note: You will not be billed for your Connectional Funding. It is the local church's responsibility to calculate and submit the apropriate amount based on their operating income.
