Rachel Bays, born and raised in Virginia Beach, serves as the Conference Administrator for the Global Methodist Church of Virginia, where she provides leadership in organization, communication, and financial record keeping.
Though Rachel accepted Christ at a young age, it was during her college years—through seasons of family hardship and life challenges—that she came to truly experience the Lord’s grace and love, developing a deep, personal relationship with Him.
She and her husband have been part of Broadcast Church in Chesapeake, VA, for over 13 years, where he serves as the Worship Pastor. Rachel has faithfully served in various ministry roles, particularly on the worship team and in children’s ministry.
A graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College with a BSW in Social Work, Rachel worked for seven years as a special education teacher in the public school system. She is also an active musician, playing bass for church ministries and alongside recording artist Melinda Isley of Roanoke, VA.
Passionate about helping others and advancing the work of the Kingdom, Rachel is grateful to serve both behind the scenes and on stage. She especially cherishes her roles as wife to her husband of 10 years and mother to their two-year-old son.
